Fort Hill Press, LLC
Fort Hill Press, LLC was formed in 2005 by Clemson alumni Trent Allen (’82) and Kevin Bray (’90). The Clemson friends had one goal in mind – a large coffee table type book of Clemson photographs accentuated with historical information. While Trent was collecting hundreds of historical photographs, Kevin was photographing the beautiful Clemson campus and town. Together they have compiled over 400 photographs that fill almost 200 pages in a 9” x 12” book titled, “Clemson – There’s Something in These Hills.” |
Trent Allen (Class of ’82)
Trent has lived in Clemson since he was four years old when his father, Joe, was hired as a Chemistry professor. He started Allens’ Creations, Inc. – Frame and Art Gallery with his mother, Doris, in 1976; graduated from D.W. Daniel High School in 1978; and married his high school sweetheart, Ginger (Clemson Class of ’81), in 1982. Trent has two sons, Robert who currently attends Clemson, and Jeremy who plans to enroll in 2009. For his love of Clemson, Trent credits “all TIGERS and members of the Clemson family who have entered my life and kindled my love of Clemson and Clemson history; and the people such as Dr. Edwards, Dean Cox, Walter Merritt Riggs, and “Mr. Holtzy,” who have made Clemson such a special place.” |
